Meet Amber, the founder of Well Kept Design

A little bit about me: I am married with two amazing daughters (Nola and Mia) who are my little BFFs. My husband and I met here in Charleston and later moved to Tennessee (Go VOLS). After becoming pregnant with Mia, we made the decision to move back to where it all began and are loving our home and community in Summerville, South Carolina.
Some of my favorites: I am obsessed with Jesus, my family, coffee, golf, being comfy and of course being creative. I am a clean freak (since having kids that’s been hard to manage) and I’m constantly trying to learn what the word ‘relax’ really means. Currently, relaxing to me means cleaning my house or getting work done. If you come to my home, you will ALWAYS find me in athleisure attire, our girls playing Barbies and a coffee in my hand.
In 2019, we made the move to South Carolina. I was pregnant with my second baby girl and made the decision to be a stay at home mom. One of my favorite things to do is to take photographs of my girls and plan ‘over-the-top’ events. My friends and family have constantly told me that I needed to do this as my “JOB.” So, as you can probably tell by now, photography, home design, interior/exterior decorating and event planning quickly and fervently became my passion and began consuming my daily thoughts. I eventually started to dream (BIG) about helping others create spaces or have photos that they adored just like we did.
In the late Summer of 2020, that dream became a reality as I launched Well Kept Design. I am now affordably helping people get beautiful photos, turn their house into their dream home, and take the stress out of planning/designing their next event.
I am a steadfast believer in and supporter of others. Nothing makes me happier than seeing other’s follow their dreams and working hard to create a life that they truly love.
